The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Daniel Bryan is apparently being considered by WWE officials as a possible inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2016. This report was further mentioned by Bryan Alvarez on Monday's edition of "Wrestling Observer Live," when he stated that he had heard that Bryan may possibly be inducted this year. It was also stated that it may be possible that WWE saves a Daniel Bryan induction for another year, as the company may feel that Sting - this year's headliner - is big enough for 2016 and that the company could get more out of Bryan getting inducted another year.

On Monday, Jonathan Snowden of Bleacher Report confirmed that The Godfather (Charles Wright) will be joining the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016. Wright spoke to Bleacher Report about the news and revealed the origin of the Godfather character.
“I told Rock one day ‘when you address me in the ring, call me the Godfather.’ He was like ‘what?’ And I said ‘just do it.’ And I was called the Godfather from that point on. And I started slowly developing that character. It got some legs underneath it and it took off.
“You could actually feel the breathe from 18,000 people as they repeated [his catch phrase Pimpin’ Aint Easy]. It was crazy. Vince (McMahon) told me ‘Charles, you ought to be paying me.’ And you know what? He was right. That was the best thing to ever happen to me.
He went on to say that of al the gimmicks he’s had in wrestling (including Papa Shango and Kama), The Godfather is the closest to his actual personality. “That’s my personality, that’s my silliness. That’s my colorfulness. Those are my clothes. I am the Godfather. That’s just Charles Wright playing Charles Wright and being called the Godfather.” Wright will be inducted by JBL and Ron Simmons.

For what it's worth WhatCulture are reporting leaked names for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame for this year. The source is believed to be somebody working inside WWE.
Current Raw broadcast announcer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) who is a Texas native is named, as well as former WWE Women's Champion Jacqueline who is from the Dallas area.
The Freebirds have been strongly rumored and are pretty much a lock for a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
WWE Attitude Era star The Godfather, who was also known as Kama and Papa Shango will also be going in.
As for the celebrity wing, Regis Philbin...strange one.... Sting of course, has been announced and will headline the ceremony. More names will likely be added.

As was previously reported, WWE is planning on releasing a DVD/Blu-Ray set about the late Owen Hart, even though his widow Martha does not approve of the project.
WWE officials have also brought up the idea of finally inducting Owen into the Hall of Fame in 2016, but there are some backstage who worry about the controversy that would arise if they do it without Martha's blessing, and Martha doesn't seem to be at all interested in letting WWE induct Owen into the Hall of Fame.

In addition to Scotty 2 Hotty, The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that members of Rikishi's own family are said to be upset over the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony due to the fact that for some unknown reason, Samu, Rikishi's cousin and former Headshrinkers tag team partner, was not invited to the ceremony.
Especially upset regarding this situation are said to be Afa, Samu's father, and Sika, the father of Roman Reigns. The report further states that WWE attempted to invite Samu in order to help smooth things over with the Anoai family, but the family was said to already be in a "testy mood."

Scott Steiner was reportedly banned from WWE's Hall of Fame ceremony this past Saturday night after an "ugly incident" with Hulk Hogan's wife Jennifer on a flight according to The Wrestling Observer.
WWE officials circulated a photo of Steiner to security at the SAP Center so they could remove him from the building if he tried to enter.
It is unknown what took place on the flight.

Scotty 2 Hotty was seemly unhappy with his former tag partner Rikishi's WWE Hall Of Fame speech tonight tweeting "In Dec. 99, 3 guys that were pretty much obsolete in the wrestling biz came together and made each other. 1 apparently doesn't remember that"
He went on to explain "It's not at all about us being in the HOF. He absolutely deserves it. Just as we deserved a mention."
He has also retweeted a number of fans who were angered by this.

News — Batista To Play Hinx In 24th James Bond Film "Spectre", Possible 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame Inductee
With WWE usually inducting a local legend from the WrestleMania host area, one possible name to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 31 weekend in 2015 is NWA Hall of Famer and former WWWF United States Champion Ray "The Crippler" Stevens.

Stevens would be considered a top choice for the Bay Area as the biggest star ever with only Hulk Hogan coming close as a long-term draw. Another choice would be former wrestler and pro football player Leo Nomellini but WWE owns no footage of him and he has no tie to them but WWE has plenty of Stevens footage.

It has been confirmed that Dave Batista will play the role of Hinx in the upcoming twenty-fourth James Bond film titled Spectre.

The Network special started with a photo slideshow and dramatic music introducing this year's HOF class. The video noted the Hall of Fame started with Andre the Giant and now includes icons, legends, and larger-than-life personalities who "defined their time and re-defined the future of WWE." The slideshow stopped on Eddie Guerrero. Tonight, the 2014 HOF class takes their place in history.

Live inside the arena, Jerry Lawler was introduced as the HOF ceremony host. Lawler opened by saying tonight will be a celebration. He then fed to an historical WrestleMania video package set to Kid Rock's music. The video turned into the WWE propaganda video that usually plays at live events.

The video package on Lita included comments from Divas champion A.J. Lee noting Lita inspired her to become a Diva.
