Other matches rumored for the card include:

  • Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
WrestleMania 32 takes place on Sunday, April 3rd from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

WWE star AJ Styles recently appeared on Chris Jericho's “Talk is Jericho” podcast in which he revealed details behind his first meeting with Vince McMahon and his character in WWE: “Him and I did sit down and talk and we talked about this character. I know this character who he’s talking about because I was [a] heel. This guy whose had to fight for everything.” “The character that he explained to me is very close, very similar to [the guy I am]. He brought it up ‘this is the way you need to be. You’re not the tallest guy, you’re not the biggest guy, but you’re a pit bull.’ I know that guy, I could be that guy.”

AJ Styles posted the following on Twitter, reacting to his WWE debut, and TNA added his congratulations to the former TNA Champion:

After a lot of rumors and speculation, has finally made his official WWE debut.
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles turned up as a surprise entrant in this year’s 30-man match at the WWE pay-per-view event from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on Sunday evening.
Styles came into the match as the third entrant. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, who is putting his title on the line in the match this year, joined “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev as the first two entrants in the match, coincidentally enough just one year after the two were the final two entrants remaining in the 2015 Royal Rumble match.
UPDATE: Styles was eventually eliminated by Kevin Owens, who entered the match at number 18 limping to sell his Last Man Standing match with Dean Ambrose, who coincidentally enough came in immediately after him at #19. At #20 was NXT star Sami Zayn, who immediately went after Owens and ultimately eliminated him.

As noted, TNA originally attempted to sign to return to the company for their Impact Wrestling debut on Pop TV earlier this month. That obviously never happened as Styles never appeared on the show and is rumored to be WWE debut in the next week.
With Styles’ WWE debut rumored for one of the next few shows the promotion will be putting on in Florida, and fellow former New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) talents , and Shinsuke Nakamura set to debut with WWE in the near future as well, TNA revisited their negotiations with Styles, Gallows and Anderson in a new article published on their official website on Friday.
ImpactWrestling.com, the official website of TNA, posted the following claiming Styles, Gallows and Anderson had signed with the promotion, only to back out of the deal at the last minute.
NOTE: LiveAudioWrestling.com is reporting that they have spoken with Styles’ management, who claims he never officially signed anything with TNA.
AJ Styles has always been synonymous with TNA and TNA synonymous with AJ Styles. AJ helped build the foundation of IMPACT WRESTLING, and his phenomenal body of work lives in our rich history – something we are very proud of.
In the last few weeks, rumors have swirled about AJ Styles, his future and TNA Wrestling. Fans have asked for the status and wrestling media have made numerous inquiries.
For the past several months, AJ and TNA were involved in serious discussions to bring him back home to TNA. Creative discussions escalated and two additional wrestlers, Drew Hankinson and Chad Allegra, were enthusiastically added.
These discussions culminated on December 14th in Nashville, Tenn., where all attended a meeting at Dixie Carter’s home. A handshake and written deal between AJ, Drew, Chad and TNA was agreed upon and signed by all. Start dates were determined, creative decided, merchandise designed and plane tickets purchased.
Over the Christmas holiday, and after the lawyers finalized the long form agreement, all communication with TNA stopped.
AJ’s lawyer contacted TNA and stated the wrestlers had changed their mind and would not be honoring their commitment to TNA.

AJ Styles was interviewed while in the UK, and when asked about the possibility of joining to WWE Universe, here’s what he had to say-

“I’m always going to do what’s best for my family. That’s my first priority, my job is to take care of them, anyway that I can and wherever that business takes me that helps them then that’s where I’ll go,” Styles told The Tag Rope.

Styles said it was a blessing in disguise that WWE didn’t sign him after WCW was acquired in 2001. Styles feels he is now in his prime, saying “I’ve fallen in love with everything about pro wrestling.” “To me the moves are easy, it’s the little things in between the moves that make the difference,” the former TNA champ said. “I wasn’t ready to be in WWF at the time, it was great going back to the indies [after WCW] and really learning. I had learned so much going to Ring of Honor. It was the best thing that could have happened. “The truth of the matter is,” Styles continued, “guys don’t get very good until they’re in their 30’s. It’s that experience you need in your 20’s to be a star in your 30’s, and when you’re in your 30’s you finally get it. It’s all about experience. “It’s not that I don’t do some of the moves I used it, I just do them at the right time.” Styles is expected to sign with WWE and make his debut in the near future.

His Back Injury:
I’m not going to let it have an impact. I’m going to be wrestling at Final Battle and Wrestle Kingdom and I will find a way. I’m not missing these amazing events for anything. I am going to be there, I have been hurt before, and I just work through it. Everyone has at some point; it’s just what you do as a wrestler. You ignore the pain and when that adrenaline starts running it doesn’t matter what’s bothering you, you will put on the best show you can.”
If He’s Interested In NXT:
“I’m going to be honest with you guys: The thing that makes wrestling most interesting to me is going to be the business that occurs after the match is over. A lot of people frown on that and say money isn’t everything. Well I say it depends on how much you have saved. My goal when I retire is to not be in a wheel chair or walk with a limp. Wherever I go, I will do my best, work harder than anybody there, and that’s just what I do. I only have one gear and if someone is looking for that and I can support my family while doing it, then that is what I will do.”
Is Wrestling In WWE A Goal?
“It’s not, it really isn’t. I get to work in the Tokyo Dome on January 4th in front of thousands and thousands of people. That’s pretty awesome. I don’t know about you guys, but the first time I watched New Japan and saw them walk down that long ramp to the ring it was unbelievable. The fact that I get to do that, that is my wrestling moment. I wouldn’t say I would never go to WWE, but if it didn’t happen I wouldn’t go, “Oh man, I missed out. I’m the one guy that missed out.”
