Shane says Stephanie isn’t worthy of the award.
Shane says Steph and Triple H are running WWE into the ground, and reveals that legally he is above Stephanie on the corporate ladder due to a side deal with Vince. It sounds like he’s going to take Stephanie’s control in the company. Vince sends Stephanie to the back, while him and Shane negotiate in the ring.
Shane says he doesn’t want any money, he just wants control of Monday Night RAW. The crowd chants “Yes!” Vince says Shane needs to win a match against an opponent of Vince’s choosing in order to get what he wants. Shane accepts. Vince says something that gets censored on the USA Network, something about beatings. Vince reveals that at WrestleMania 32, Shane will have to wrestle The Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell match. Welcome back Shane-o!
Neville & The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day: About halfway through the match, Neville hits a very nicely done 450 splash on Big E from the apron to the floor at ringside. Kingston hits the Trouble In Paradise on Sin Cara for the pinfall victory.

While Lesnar and Heyman are still in the ring, Dean Ambrose drives an ambulance through the back and right out beside the stage. He stumbles out of the ambulance in a neck brace. He’s crawling around the stage selling his beating from earlier. Lesnar hops out of the ring to meet him at ringside. He steps on Ambrose’s head as he walks over him and heads to the back, leaving Ambrose laying at ringside.
Ambrose gets on the mic, still laying on the ground. He tells Lesnar to kiss his ass, and says he’s indestructible and wants a match with him at WrestleMania in a street fight. Lesnar walks down to ringside and gives Ambrose an F-5 on the floor.

Winners: The Wyatt Family
– Charlotte and Ric Flair come out to the stage and cut a promo on Sasha and Naomi. She says Becky and Sasha will have to wrestle each other to find out who gets a shot at her Divas title at WrestleMania.
– Backstage, Stephanie wonders what it is that Shane is holding over Vince. She says she refuses to work for her brother. Vince says the odds of him defeating The Undertaker are astronomical.
Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus: The other League of Nations members are at ringside. Sheamus beats down Reigns early, and Reigns comes back with a clothesline to the outside. He hits a flying clothesline on Sheamus off the steps at ringside. Rusev kicks Reigns in the head, the referee misses it. They are fighting back in the ring when HHH’s music hits and The Game comes out to the ring. Reigns meets him at ringside and they brawl. The crowd seems to be booing Reigns and cheering Triple H. Reigns clotheslines Triple H into the timekeeper’s area, then Triple H hits him with the bell. The crowd seems to be cheering for HHH and booing Reigns. Triple H smashes Reigns face into the table repeatedly and it looks like he’s bleeding from his nose. Ring Of Honor (ROH) veteran recently spoke with the Pancakes & Powerslams podcast about his history with former WWE World Heavyweight Champion , as well as Bryan’s recent retirement. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On his 2005 match with Daniel Bryan in ROH:
“That was one of the best things working with Bryan. He could paint a picture really well, and know the next one before he was even done with the first one. We kind of had a vision and it played out the way we wanted it to. I was just nervous. That’s why you do it; to get those nerves, and to overcome them. That was the biggest feeling that I had, because I knew I was going for so long, and I knew I was in there with someone so good, I felt like I could keep up.”
On if the match was planned out ahead of time or if it was called live in the ring:
“Me and Bryan always wrestled a lot on field, so that was what we did. That was why that was such a pinnacle part of my career; to be in those situations, and to be led through them to hopefully, one day, be able to do the same thing for somebody else.”
On Daniel Bryan being forced to retire due to physical issues, such as concussions:
“Obviously just doing what we do, it may be something as simple as locking up and bumping heads to give him a concussion. So, I think [him retiring] is good. I think financially it’s the best place he could possibly be, I’m assuming, at this point. He’ll do alright for himself.”
On his most memorable moment with Daniel Bryan:
“At the end of every match that I had in my feud with him, basically. And beating him for the FIP title was a big accomplishment, because I really don’t think I beat him in Ring of Honor (laughs). Maybe once. I believe I did once.”
On why Daniel Bryan received a WWE opportunity ahead of so many other talented ROH performers:
“He just earned it. It was his time to go do what he needed to do.”

As his TNA career comes to an end, Kurt Angle says he preferred to work as a heel over being a babyface during his time in the company. In an interview with Digital Spy to promote TNA’s European tour, he explained why.

“I was very comfortable being a heel and I knew my role. There are a lot of guys out there who want to be cool, they want to be liked as a heel, and that’s not the way it is,” Angle said.
“You have to play that role and you have to want people to hate you. It’s hard these days because everyone wants to be accepted. Everybody wants to say, ‘You know what, he’s a heel but he’s a cool heel and I like him’. That’s not how it is. You’ve gotta be hated.”
With his own TNA retirement on his horizon, the Olympic gold medalist was also asked about the possible retirement of another wrestler: . Here’s what he had to say:
“It’s sad, because what he’s brought to the table since the early ’90s, gosh, he’s done so much for the business, I don’t want to see him go,” Angle said. “I’d love to see him go another five WrestleManias. Whether he can do it or not, that’s really up to him.
“The crazy thing is, I don’t think he should have been beaten at WrestleMania. His legend is all about the Streak and it would have been nice to see him go out undefeated. But, if you’re going to going to get beat, it might as well be against Brock Lesnar, who’s the most legit athlete who’s ever gone in the business besides myself.”

member , aka Kenny Dykstra, recently appeared as a guest on The Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast and spoke about the possibility of a WWE return. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.
Former WWE Superstar and
On the recent article published by WWE on what Kenn has done since leaving the company:
“When I saw it, I was nervous leading up to it because you never know. What if they spin it in a bad direction or who knows. When it came out I was so nervous and I didn’t tell anybody about it because in case it has a bad spin than I am not telling anybody. But when I read it I said WOW this is really good and exactly what we talked about. Not like I am going to get a Bret Hart “screw-job” here but you just never know and you can never be too sure.”
On if he thinks the interview could lead to a return to the company:
“When I left I kind of knew it was coming. I had just come off tearing my knee and they had moved me from one to show to the next show and those are tell-tale signs and when you end up working dark matches against new guys from developmental it’s just kind of like a process that happens. With the interview, there is more to this life than just wrestling. If you don’t watch wrestling for one month your life is not going to change. The interview had come up because I had been chosen to receive a scholarship award and before I had left WWE I had made it a point to go to John Laurinaitis and Hunter and Stephanie and I said I appreciate what you do to help people who need it like with rehab stuff but what about people that are doing the right thing and want to go to college. When it finally came up last year I thought I was totally going to get it since I kind of sparked the idea and they didn’t choose me. So this year I had to write an essay and fill out an application and I thought they aren’t going to choose me and I got an email saying that I had got it. So they like me now (laughs) who knows. You never know. I never disliked them, we always love each other. It’s a love/hate relationship. We are like brothers and sisters.”
On still being so young and being a “veteran”:
“I have fans that come up to me and ask me why did I leave? I say it wasn’t my choice and that I said hey, I think I’m leaving today. I have sixteen years’ experience, I’m only 29 years old and even if I was on the roster now I’d be one of the younger guys there and at the same time I’d be one of the most experienced guys there. It’s a weird combination. It’s not like I am fat now and I’m out of shape.”
On changes in power leading to changes at WWE:
“I think it does have to do with the leadership thing. I know Hunter is very big on protecting the ‘boys’ and not to say Vince was a bad leader. Vince was great and built it to what it is. I guess he was always on the business side of things and was never one of the workers so I guess Hunter knows what it is like to be a worker and build yourself up to that level. But he probably doesn’t know what it is like to be released from WWE and go and do your own thing. But I am sure he can still relate to it in some aspect. Looking out for everyone I would say is more on him but I also think it has a lot to do with developmental and the leadership there. In Louisville, Danny Davis, Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman, Al Snow and Tommy Dreamer and Bill Demott would stress this is not a long term gig. Enjoy it now, save your money and what you can because eventually it’s going to end and they would say everyone is going to get fired at some point in their life or career. Granted, you might think looking at it now and some people do think but nobody lasts forever and everybody will get fired.”
On the aggressiveness of the Spirit Squad making ot onto WWE TV:
“Eventually The Spirit Squad started coming about and they started liking it. They flew us into one of the Carolinas and they weren’t sure about it then. So we all came up with this idea that we are going to wait in Vince’s office and when he comes in we are going to blow the air horn in his face and do a cheer. We thought you either going to get fired or it will work. We don’t want to be in developmental so he was stuck in the production meeting for quite a while so we said let’s find him and break in. So we bust into the production meeting and blow the air horn, we did a big cheer and we just kind of stopped in our position and Vince looked up and he said ‘great, you will be on RAW next week.'”
