WWE Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show
The Kickoff Show opens, as always, with the Kickoff Show Panel, which consists of Renee Young, Booker T, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. The four talk in general about the dangerous Hell In A Cell match and its’ legendary history.
They kick it to the social media lounge where we are told to use “#HIAC” on Twitter tonight. Tom Phillips announces that he will be joined by The Dudley Boyz live in the social media lounge later in the Kickoff Show. “#GetTheTitles” on Twitter to ask Bubba and Devon questions for later in the Kickoff Show.
John Cena is shown in a backstage interview. He hypes up his U.S. Open Challenge later tonight. He announces that he will be kicking off the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view tonight with his open challenge.
Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro & Neville vs. Rusev, King Barrett & Sheamus
The babyfaces come out first, followed by the heels. Six man tag-team action is first to hit the ring here at the Hell In A Cell Kickoff Show.
Sheamus and Neville kick things off for their respective teams. Neville establishes control over Sheamus and tags in Cesaro. Cesaro and Neville hit a wicked double team move. Stardust and The Ascension are shown in the crowd as “The Stardust Section,” to screw with Cesaro and his “Cesaro Section.”
Cesaro finally gets the hot tag after some back and forth action and completely stole the show. He debuted some new moves and dusted off some classics, setting Neville up for the Red Arrow and the 1-2-3.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro & Neville
The Dudley Boyz Talk To Tom Phillips
In the social media lounge, The Dudley Boyz answer Twitter questions fielded by Tom Phillips. They say they aren’t sorry for putting Xavier Woods through a table and brag about becoming ten-time tag-team champions after tonight.
WWE Hell In A Cell 2015 PPV
The 2015 WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view kicks off with the usual bad ass elaborate video package hyping up the Hell In A Cell structure itself, as well as the top matches on tonight’s show.
After that, we shoot live inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California where Michael Cole welcomes us to the show as pyro explodes at the top of the stage.
U.S. Open Challenge
– John Cena (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio
From there, John Cena’s music hits and as promised, he comes out with his U.S. Open Challenge to kick off this year’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. The fans sing “John Cena-sucks!” to the tune of his theme as he makes his way out.
Cena asks who it’s gonna be and out comes Zeb Colter on a motor scooter. He grabs a mic and tells them to cut the music. Colter says it’s time for people of different backgrounds and countries to come together, and it’s time for Cena to lose his U.S. title. Colter introduces Cena to his opponent — Alberto Del Rio.
The crowd exploded for Del Rio and did “Welcome Back!” chants. After a solid back-and-forth match, Del Rio caught Cena with a super kick while Cena was on his knees. Del Rio then got the 1-2-3 to become the new U.S. champ.
Winner and NEW U.S. Champion: Alberto Del Rio
Hell In A Cell
– Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt
The video package plays for the Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt feud and then “The Eater of Worlds” makes his way out to the ring by himself as his “fireflies” light up the Staples Center. Out next is his opponent for tonight, Roman Reigns.
Early on, Reigns dominates the action, launching Wyatt all over the ring and then taking him to the floor to continue his assault. Reigns slams Wyatt into the cage several times and lands his flying boot to the face on the apron spot.
Wyatt finally takes over control thanks to about a dozen or so kendo stick shots. Reigns finally turns the tide back in his favor and sets up a table outside the ring. Wyatt ends up chokeslamming Reigns through the table on the floor from the apron.
The fans in L.A. get on Reigns’ case with his very own “Let’s Go Roman! / Roman Sucks!” dueling chants while Wyatt continues to dominate the former Shield member. The two battle in the corner and Reigns ends up powerbombing Wyatt through another table set up inside the ring.
Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail but Reigns reverses to a school boy. Wyatt kicks out at two and pops up but so does Reigns, who nails him with a Superman punch for a close near fall. Seconds later, Reigns spears Wyatt off the apron and through yet another table set up on the floor.
Reigns goes for his finisher again, but this time Wyatt counters into a quickly applied Sister Abigail. Wyatt nails it. 1-2…Reigns kicks out. Wyatt starts laughing. He grabs a kendo stick and blasts Reigns with it. Wyatt wedges two kendo sticks in the corner and threatens Reigns’ eye, but Roman counters, slams Wyatt face first into it and then blasts him with his finisher for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Roman Reigns
WWE Tag-Team Titles
– The New Day (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz
The New Day, consisting only of Big E. and Kofi Kingston, make their way out, cutting an annoying promo as usual. They explain Xavier Woods’ absence and promise to play the drums on Bubba Ray’s belly and Devon’s head. The Dudley Boyz’ music hits and out they come for this tag title match.
Just as it seems The Dudley Boyz are on their way to victory, Big E. hits Bubba Ray with a piece of the trombone that he broke he half, setting up a Trouble In Paradise kick for the 1-2-3 from Kingston.
Winners and STILL WWE Tag-Team Champions: The New Day
WWE Divas Title
– Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte (c)
The video package for the WWE Divas title match airs and then Eden introduces the participants, starting with Nikki Bella. She reminds us that no one is allowed at ringside for this one. Out next is the champion, Charlotte.
The Divas go back and forth for a little over five minutes until Charlotte locks Nikki in the Figure 8. Nikki gets Charlotte to the floor and slams her face on the apron, but Charlotte gets her back in the Figure 8 once they re-enter the ring for the win.
Winner and STiLL WWE Divas Champion: Charlotte
WWE Title (Corporate Kane’s Job On The Line)
– Demon Kane vs. Seth Rollins (c)
Both Demon Kane and Seth Rollins make their way to the ring for a match where if Demon Kane doesn’t win the WWE title, Corporate Kane will be relieved of his duties in The Authority.
Kane and Rollins brawl all over the place, including use of foreign objects. One major spot saw Rollins powerbomb Kane onto the Spanish table. The table didn’t break, instead Kane slid off it violently. The trainers checked on Kane but he made it back to the ring by the count of nine.
Rollins goes for a Pedgiree but Kane blocks it. Rollins hits two super kicks and then a frog splash off the top. Kane kicks out. Rollins hits a Pedgiree for the 1-2-3.
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Seth Rollins

WWE Intercontinental Title
– Ryback vs. Kevin Owens (c)
The I-C title match is up next here at Hell In A Cell as Ryback makes his way to the ring. Out next is the current I-C champ Kevin Owens.
Ryback and Owens brawl to start the match. The two battle back and forth until Owens rakes Ryback’s eyes. It pissed off The Big Guy, and as he charged at Owens, Owens caught him with the Pop Up Powerbomb for the 1-2-3 to retain.
Winner and STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kevin Owens
Hell In A Cell
– Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring for his “Final Battle” against The Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell. Taker is out next and he immediately goes after Lesnar. The fans do dueling “Under-Taker / Suplex City” chants as Taker establishes control over Lesnar early on. Lesnar fights back and now he’s in control of the action.
Taker dominates Lesnar early on, busting him open and beating him down with a chair. Lesnar retaliates and busts Taker open with a stiff punch. Lesnar lands his first suplex en route to Suplex City. And now his second. Taker is well on his way to Suplex City. Lesnar even says “Suplex City, Bitch!” while swaggering his way over to The Dead Man.
Lesnar hits an F-5 and covers Taker but Taker kicks out at two. The doctors come to check on Taker but Lesnar sends the doctors flying out of the ring and he immediately hits Taker with another F-5. He covers him again but Taker again kicks out at two. He blasts Taker with steel steps and covers him and Taker still kicks out at two. Lesnar looks shocked.
He goes to hit Taker with the steps again but Taker gets out of the way this time. He goes for it again and this time Taker kicks the steps into Lesnar’s face and he falls backwards.
Out of nowhere Taker traps Lesnar in Hell’s Gate. Heyman freaks out from outside the cage as Lesnar fades. Lesnar gets his second wind and starts Donkey Kong’ing Taker with vicious MMA style ground and pound. He legitimately lumped Taker up with some of those shots for sure.
Lesnar starts tearing the ring up to shreds. The apron, the canvas, the padding, all of it. Meanwhile, Taker does a Dead Man sit-up that startles Lesnar.
We see exposed boards and steel from the spot Lesnar tore up. Taker grabs Lesnar and chokeslams him right on that spot.
The fans echo throughout the Staples Center with “This Is Awesome” chants. Taker waits for Lesnar to get up and nails him with a Tombstone on the exposed part of the ring. He crosses Lesnar’s arms across his chest for a Dead Man pin but Lesnar still kicks out at two. Taker looks shocked now.
Taker does the throat slashing gesture to a grounded Lesnar and grabs him, but Lesnar blasts him with a very loudly heard, very powerful low blow. A smirking Lesnar nails Taker with an F-5 on the exposed floor. 1-2-3. Lesnar wins the Final Battle.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
After The Match: The Wyatt Family Confronts The Dead Man
After the match, Lesnar and Heyman leave as the announcers get their serious voices on and put over the fact that Taker fought like a champion in a losing effort in his Final Battle against The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. The fans chant “Thank You Taker” as The Dead Man struggles to get back to his feet, shaking his head. A bloody Taker stumbles around selling the beating from Lesnar as the fans cheers inside the Staples Center grow louder and louder and this becomes more and more of a “moment.” Taker drops down and does the salute to the fans but the lights go out and Bray Wyatt’s music hits.
Bray Wyatt and the entire Wyatt Family make their way out to the top of the stage and now down to the ring. Taker gets up and pulls his straps down as The Wyatt Family surrounds the ring. Bray blows out the latern.
Braun Strowman, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt all surround different sides of the ring. They slowly get on the apron and close in on The Dead Man. They enter the ring and the numbers game catches up with Taker as they start to beat him down. Wyatt tells his family members to “take him.” So they grab Taker and drag him to the back as the lights dim down again and Bray’s music plays. That is how Hell In A Cell 2015 goes off the air.

Those who enjoyed watching the first season of the high-flying wrestling series "Lucha Underground" are in for a treat as the show has just been confirmed to come back to the television for Season 2. When the Lucha Libre wrestling show first aired on El Rey Network in 2014, it gained numerous followers all over the world and even created somewhat of a cult following. And now, the fans are feeling nothing but exceeding excitement for more episodes of wrestling match action.
The over-enthusiasm of some fans is truly understandable since they had a feeling that the show might not come back for a sophomore season after 39 episodes. According to Den of Geek, even though its followers are great in number, the show does not have a sound financial status just like WWE. Its promotion isn't like the regular ones as well. They have no profits through live events and PPVs and on top of that, the network isn't as extensive as people would want.
But amidst that, El Rey Network, United Artists Media Group and executive producer Mark Burnett have made the good news on the show's official Twitter account, as reported by Deadline. Attached with a teaser photo, the captions says, "Believers, are you ready? #LuchaUnderground season 2 is coming in 2016!" The source also mentioned that the series will be back into production in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.
They will be back on track by the fourth quarter of 2015 for the premiere on El Rey Network in early 2016.
Burnett then teased fans saying, "We brought together some of the best athletes from lucha libre and wrestling to fight in Los Angeles this year on Lucha Underground." The chairman and founder of El Rey Network also expressed his delight with the return of the show saying that he is pleased that the legendary wrestling tradition will continue to run in the television channel.

For the first time since the July 4 show in Japan, WWE will be broadcasting a WWE house show event live on the WWE Network on October 3. The show emanates from the world famous Madison Square Garden, and it will feature Brock Lesnar in action as it’s primary focus.
The card for the show, at this point, looks as follows:
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show
  • WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. WWE United States Champion John Cena
  • WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz
  • WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
  • Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler
It’s interesting to note that three of the bouts are rematches from Night Of Champions.
WWE used a segment during RAW on Monday evening attempting to establish The Big Show as a legitimate threat to Brock Lesnar at the show. Big Show demolished Cesaro on RAW and gave a promo following the match emphasizing that he has been in the business for 20 years because every time he steps into the ring he is a threat. The idea was that his character took offense that he was being considered just a run of the mill opponent for Lesnar, kind of like when Lesnar faced Kofi Kingston in Tokyo on the WWE Network.
The Madison Square Garden show on October 3 is being advertised as the first of a trio of major events during October on the WWE Network, dubbed the “Brock Lesnar Go To Hell Tour.” Lesnar will also appear on Steve Austin’s podcast on October 19, and he will face The Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell match at the Hell In A Cell PPV on October 25.

It's been rumored that TNA will tape their next Impact Wrestling episodes on an upcoming tour of India. It appears that tour is now confirmed as indie promoter David Herro announced on Facebook that Mr. Anderson and TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ethan Carter III have been pulled from his Blizzard Brawl 11 event on December 5th because they will be in India with TNA.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that at least some TNA talents were told for the first time about the tour just last week and given the dates of November 29th through December 5th to keep free.
These tapings should carry TNA through most of December and January, when the UK tour takes place. TNA will likely piece together episodes of Impact with previously taped matches that haven't aired yet to carry them up until the India tapings.
